Gurnard Primary School PTA app for iPhone and iPad

Gurnard Primary School Parents Teacher Association support the school by organising fundraising fun events for the children, their families and the local community. Money raised is spent on resources which will enhance the education, on-site facilities and experiences of the children. Using this app, we aim to provide you with information on all the activities the PTA undertakes in support of Gurnard Primary School and its pupils, as well as keeping you up-to-date on our latest news, events and fundraising plans.

The PTA makes a valuable contribution to the fabric of school life, not only through the fundraising that allows the school to access some of those valuable extras not always possible on a tightly squeezed budget, but also via the creation of a sociable network of parents and teachers, working together to support the school and the children. We organise a number of fun events throughout the school year from discos to book swaps, Summer and Christmas Fayres to quiz and family fun nights. We try to provide events which will appeal to all ages and are always open to suggestions on events we can hold.

All parents and carers of the children currently attending Gurnard Primary School are automatically members and all support is welcome. If you think you can help, wish to get more involved or just want to know more about us then please do not hesitate to contact us. Your participation with the PTA will be warmly welcomed.

We are a registered charity, hold an annual AGM in the autumn and elect a committee for the year. The committee meets regularly to plan events throughout the year.
